About the Thorpe St Andrew Conservation Area
The Thorpe St Andrew Conservation Area covers about 52 hectares and was designated by Broadland District Council in 2007. Inside the boundary are 15 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 14 Grade II). The most significant is Ruin of Church of St Andrew, Grade II*. 53 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
