About the Catton Conservation Area
The Catton Conservation Area covers about 52 hectares and was designated by Broadland District Council in 1983. Inside the boundary are 18 listed buildings (2 Grade II*, 16 Grade II). The most significant is Parish Church of St Margaret, Grade II*. 3 Article 4 directions over the area remove further householder rights, on top of the conservation area limits below. 24 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
