The Haworth Conservation Area covers about 43 hectares and was designated by City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council in 1971. Inside the boundary are 51 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 49 Grade II). The most significant is Haworth Parsonage (Bronte Museum), Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
