The Shadoxhurst Conservation Area covers about 2.5 hectares and was designated by Ashford Borough Council in 1996. Inside the boundary are 15 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 14 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Peter and St Paul, Grade II*. 2 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
