The Rolvenden Layne Conservation Area covers about 16 hectares and was designated by Ashford Borough Council in 1996. Inside the boundary are 30 listed buildings, all Grade II. 5 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
