The Broadwater Conservation Area covers about 5.1 hectares and was designated by Worthing Borough Council in 1975. Inside the boundary are 13 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 12 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Mary, Grade I. 45 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
