The Wickham Conservation Area covers about 15 hectares and was designated by Winchester City Council in 1969. Inside the boundary are 50 listed buildings (6 Grade II*, 44 Grade II). The most significant is Havelock House and Wentworth House, Grade II*. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
