The Aldermaston Conservation Area covers about 8.2 hectares and was designated by West Berkshire Council in 1971. Inside the boundary are 28 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 27 Grade II). The most significant is North East Lodges and Gates to Aldermaston Court, Grade II*. 7 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
