About the TILFORD Conservation Area
The TILFORD Conservation Area covers about 27 hectares and was designated by Waverley Borough Council in 1973. Inside the boundary are 20 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 17 Grade II). The most significant is Bridge Over the River Wey to North East Side of Green, Grade I. 1 Article 4 direction over the area removes further householder rights, on top of the conservation area limits below. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
