The Station Road Conservation Area covers about 42 hectares and was designated by London Borough of Waltham Forest in 2023. Inside the boundary are 3 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 2 Grade II). The most significant is Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge, Grade II*. 50 Article 4 directions over the area remove further householder rights, on top of the conservation area limits below. 89 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
