The Buckland Conservation Area covers about 21 hectares and was designated by Vale of White Horse District Council in 1971. Inside the boundary are 35 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 33 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Mary, Grade I.
