The Plaxtol Conservation Area covers about 20 hectares and was designated by Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council in 1972. Inside the boundary are 30 listed buildings (2 Grade II*, 28 Grade II). The most significant is Plaxtol Church, Grade II*.
