The Mottisfont Conservation Area covers about 17 hectares and was designated by Test Valley Borough Council in 1987. Inside the boundary are 39 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 36 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Andrew, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
