About the Bletchingley Conservation Area
The Bletchingley Conservation Area covers about 18 hectares and was designated by Tandridge District Council in 1969. Inside the boundary are 37 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 3 Grade II*, 33 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Mary the Virgin, Grade I. 30 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
