About the Hingham Conservation Area
The Hingham Conservation Area covers about 17 hectares and was designated by South Norfolk District Council in 1975. Inside the boundary are 80 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 6 Grade II*, 73 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St. Andrew, Grade I. 18 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
