The Ditchling Conservation Area covers about 20 hectares and was designated by South Downs National Park in 1969. Inside the boundary are 48 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 2 Grade II*, 44 Grade II). The most significant is Anne of Cleves House Wings Place, Grade I.
