The Llanymynech Village and Heritage Area Conservation Area covers about 46 hectares and was designated by Shropshire Council in 2000. Inside the boundary are 13 listed buildings, all Grade II. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
