The Christ Church Conservation Area covers about 19 hectares and was designated by Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council in 2004. Inside the boundary are 10 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 9 Grade II). The most significant is Old Christ Church, Grade II*. 64 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
