About the Werrington Conservation Area
The Werrington Conservation Area covers about 14 hectares and was designated by Peterborough City Council in 1969. Inside the boundary are 25 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 24 Grade II). The most significant is Parish Church of St John the Baptist, Grade I. 7 Article 4 directions over the area remove further householder rights, on top of the conservation area limits below. 28 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
