The Northborough Conservation Area covers about 17 hectares and was designated by Peterborough City Council in 1976. Inside the boundary are 26 listed buildings (3 Grade I, 23 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Andrew, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
