The Tideswell Conservation Area covers about 34 hectares and was designated by Peak District National Park in 1981. Inside the boundary are 26 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 25 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St John the Baptist, Grade I. 1 Tree Preservation Order record overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
