About the Hathersage Conservation Area
The Hathersage Conservation Area covers about 13 hectares and was designated by Peak District National Park in 1981. Inside the boundary are 28 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 2 Grade II*, 25 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Michael and All Angels, Grade I. 8 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
