The Baslow and Bubnell Conservation Area covers about 34 hectares and was designated by Peak District National Park in 1997. Inside the boundary are 15 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 13 Grade II). The most significant is Baslow Bridge, Grade I. 1 Tree Preservation Order record overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
