About the Corbridge Conservation Area
The Corbridge Conservation Area covers about 66 hectares and was designated by Northumberland County Council in 1974. Inside the boundary are 59 listed buildings (4 Grade I, 55 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Andrew, Grade I. 60 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
