The Breedon on the Hill Conservation Area covers about 18 hectares and was designated by North West Leicestershire District Council in 1992. Inside the boundary are 13 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 12 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Mary and St Hardulph, Grade I.
