The Monkseaton Conservation Area covers about 63 hectares and was designated by North Tyneside Council in 2006. Inside the boundary are 3 listed buildings, all Grade II. 276 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
