About the Overstrand Conservation Area
The Overstrand Conservation Area covers about 87 hectares and was designated by North Norfolk District Council in 1978. Inside the boundary are 13 listed buildings (6 Grade II*, 7 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St. Martin, Grade II*. 1 Article 4 direction over the area removes further householder rights, on top of the conservation area limits below. 47 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
