About the Whitwell Conservation Area
The Whitwell Conservation Area covers about 14 hectares and was designated by North Hertfordshire District Council in 1990. Inside the boundary are 35 listed buildings, all Grade II. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
