About the Barnstaple - Newport Conservation Area
The Barnstaple - Newport Conservation Area covers about 19 hectares and was designated by North Devon District Council in 2009. Inside the boundary are 46 listed buildings, all Grade II. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
