The Hurstpierpoint Conservation Area covers about 31 hectares and was designated by Mid Sussex District Council in 1999. Inside the boundary are 42 listed buildings (2 Grade II*, 40 Grade II). The most significant is Mansion House Cottage the Mansion House, Grade II*.
