The SNETTISHAM Conservation Area covers about 45 hectares and was designated by Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk in 1978. Inside the boundary are 22 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 20 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Mary, Grade I. 13 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
