The Isles of Scilly Conservation Area covers about 11,905 hectares within Council of the Isles of Scilly’s area. Inside the boundary are 100 listed buildings (4 Grade I, 5 Grade II*, 91 Grade II). The most significant is Bastions and Walls of Star Castle, Grade I. 4 Article 4 directions over the area remove further householder rights, on top of the conservation area limits below. Part of the area lies in flood zone 2, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
