About the RAMSEY AND BURY Conservation Area
The RAMSEY AND BURY Conservation Area covers about 251 hectares and was designated by Huntingdonshire District Council in 2005. Inside the boundary are 58 listed buildings (4 Grade I, 3 Grade II*, 51 Grade II). The most significant is Church of Holy Cross, Grade I. 127 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
