The West Chiltington Conservation Area covers about 11 hectares and was designated by Horsham District Council in 1974. Inside the boundary are 33 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 32 Grade II). The most significant is The Parish Church of St Mary, Grade I. 6 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
