The Hale Village Conservation Area covers about 10 hectares and was designated by Halton Borough Council in 1983. Inside the boundary are 11 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 10 Grade II). The most significant is The Manor House, Grade II*. 15 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
