About the Titchfield Abbey Conservation Area
The Titchfield Abbey Conservation Area covers about 110 hectares and was designated by Fareham Borough Council in 1994. Inside the boundary are 12 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 11 Grade II). The most significant is Monastic Barn of Titchfield Abbey at Fern Hill Farm, Grade I. 2 Article 4 directions over the area remove further householder rights, on top of the conservation area limits below. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
