The Risley Conservation Area covers about 23 hectares and was designated by Erewash Borough Council in 1984. Inside the boundary are 14 listed buildings (5 Grade II*, 9 Grade II). The most significant is Balustrades, Gateway and Bridge on Terrace to South East of Risley Hall, Grade II*.
