The Bramfield Conservation Area covers about 17 hectares and was designated by East Suffolk Council in 1987. Inside the boundary are 17 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 14 Grade II). The most significant is St Andrews Church, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
