The Goodnestone Conservation Area covers about 13 hectares and was designated by Dover District Council in 1973. Inside the boundary are 27 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 3 Grade II*, 23 Grade II). The most significant is Church of the Holy Cross, Grade I. 1 Tree Preservation Order record overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
