The Yetminster Conservation Area 1 Conservation Area covers about 12 hectares and was designated by Dorset Council in 1970. Inside the boundary are 53 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 2 Grade II*, 50 Grade II). The most significant is Parish Church of St Andrew, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 2, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
