The Tarrant Valley Conservation Area (Tarrent Granville) Conservation Area covers about 187 hectares and was designated by Dorset Council in 1995. Inside the boundary are 18 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 16 Grade II). The most significant is Eastbury House Including Attached West Courtyard and Gateway., Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
