The Kingscote Conservation Area covers about 8.6 hectares and was designated by Cotswold District Council in 1980. Inside the boundary are 13 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 12 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St John the Baptist, Grade II*. 1 Tree Preservation Order record overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
