The Great Rissington Conservation Area covers about 24 hectares and was designated by Cotswold District Council in 1987. Inside the boundary are 60 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 59 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St John the Baptist, Grade II*. 2 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
