The Broadwell Conservation Area covers about 18 hectares and was designated by Cotswold District Council in 1977. Inside the boundary are 32 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 3 Grade II*, 28 Grade II). The most significant is Shayler Monument in the Churchyard of the Church of St Paul Circa 4 Metres East of the Vestry, Grade I. 1 Tree Preservation Order record overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
