The MARAZION Conservation Area covers about 22 hectares and was designated by Cornwall Council in 1983. Inside the boundary are 65 listed buildings (3 Grade II*, 62 Grade II). The most significant is Friends Meeting House, Grade II*. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
