The Fitzjohns Netherhall Conservation Area covers about 57 hectares and was designated by London Borough of Camden in 1985. Inside the boundary are 40 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 38 Grade II). The most significant is Institute of St Marcellina, Grade I. 9 Article 4 directions over the area remove further householder rights, on top of the conservation area limits below.
