The Hardwick Conservation Area covers about 8.9 hectares and was designated by Buckinghamshire Council in 1990. Inside the boundary are 17 listed buildings (2 Grade II*, 15 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Mary, Grade II*. 3 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
