The Park Street and Brandon Hill Conservation Area covers about 30 hectares and was designated by Bristol City Council in 1975. Inside the boundary are 80 listed buildings (13 Grade II*, 67 Grade II). The most significant is 1 to 6 and Attached Railings 19 and Attached Railings, Grade II*. 2 Article 4 directions over the area remove further householder rights, on top of the conservation area limits below. 43 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
