About the Kingsweston and Trym Valley Conservation Area
The Kingsweston and Trym Valley Conservation Area covers about 329 hectares and was designated by Bristol City Council in 1981. Inside the boundary are 35 listed buildings (4 Grade I, 4 Grade II*, 27 Grade II). The most significant is Kings Weston House, Grade I. 165 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
