The Oxborough Conservation Area covers about 25 hectares and was designated by Breckland District Council in 1993. Inside the boundary are 11 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 8 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St John the Evangelist, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 2, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
